Captain Jeff Prass began his fire service career serving the citizens of Springboro and Clearcreek Township in 1990.  He received his volunteer fire fighter training in the spring of 1990 and his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician – Basic in January 1991.  Captain Jeff Prass was one of the first part-time paid firefighters employed by the Clearcreek Fire District in 1991.  In the summer of 1991, Captain Jeff Prass received his professional fire fighter training form Sinclair Community College and in July of 1991 he received his paramedic certification from the Butler County Joint Vocational Center.

 

In May of 1991, Jeff began working as a part- time Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician for Miami Twp. in Montgomery County, Ohio.  In May of 1993, Captain Jeff Prass began his career as a paramedic firefighter for Miami Township.  Captain Jeff Prass continued his service as a firefighter paramedic with the City of Moraine, Ohio in July of 1996.  Captain Jeff Prass achieved the rank of Lieutenant with the Clearcreek Fire District in May of 1997.  In December of 2002, he achieved the rank of Acting Captain and became a career Captain of Fire and Life Safety Services at Clearcreek Fire District in August of 2002.

 

Captain Jeff Prass earned the Clearcreek Fire District “Chief Dick Chenault Fire Service Excellence Award” in 2000.  The award is given to firefighters who achieve a level of service excellence that exceeds the standard level of service.  Captain Jeff Prass has earned and Associate Degree of Technical Studies in Emergency Medical Services and Fire Science from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.  Captain Jeff Prass has been a fire inspector for 10 years and enjoys the pursuit of fire and accident prevention through the enforcement of codes and standards.  Captain Jeff Prass receives continuous advice and support from his wife Sheila and has two beautiful girls Paige and Jamie.
