Linda Oda
Linda Oda was elected November 2007 to a four-year term as Fiscal Officer. The
term expires March 31, 2012. She replaced James Dalton, who retired after
holding the position for 20 years.
As Fiscal Officer, Mrs. Oda performs all the daily activities of a chief
financial officer for the township, which has a budget of about $13 million. She
personally handles all accounts payables/receivables, payroll functions,
withholdings, tax payments and paperwork, and retirements. In addition, she also
manages the township’s investment portfolio, which currently stands at about $12
million.
Previous work experiences includes three years as Director of Advocacy Services
for the Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities
(formerly MRDD) where she worked with state and federal legislators on issues
affecting people with disabilities; 10 years of public school communication
(Kings Local, Loveland City and Springboro City school districts), and 20 years
in the newspaper industry, where she held positions ranging from sports editor
to publisher. The final six years of her journalism career were spent at the
Cincinnati Enquirer.
Mrs. Oda has been active in the community. From 2004 to 2009, she served on the
Warren County Board of MRDD, where she was vice president. She is a founding
member of the Anthony Munoz Foundation. She has chaired various Warren County
Republican Party events.

Don and Linda Oda have been married for 18 years and have two children. Don
recently was re-elected to his second term as Warren County Court Judge, and
also has a private practice.
Craig Colston, Assistant Fiscal Officer
Craig Colston was hired as assistant fiscal officer in September 2008. A
graduate of Lebanon High School
and Wilmington
College, Mr. Colston has been a financial adviser
for more than 17 years. A lifelong Warren County
resident, Mr. Colston is active in the community, and served two terms on the
Springboro City Community
School District, where he was elected President
three times.
Mr. Colston and his wife Shay live in Springboro. Son Zach is a sophomore at
Miami
