Clearcreek Township is accepting Pre-Testing Applications from qualified
persons to establish eligibility lists for both Full-Time and Part-Time Police
Officers. Individuals meeting the
qualifications as indicated on their Pre-Testing
Application will be
provided a comprehensive information packet explaining the selection process
that includes: physical fitness assessment, written examination, oral
interviews, personal history evaluation, psychological assessment, polygraph
examinations, and medical examination.
Applicants
must be U. S. citizens at least 21 years of age. Must have a current Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Certificate
or its equivalent or currently enrolled in a certified OPOTC police academy and
not be out of active police service / academy for more than one year at the
time of appointment.
Beginning January 2007, starting
salary for Full-Time Police Officer is $42,052.10 with a generous fringe
benefit package, and starting salary for Part-Time Police Officer is $11.03 per
hour moving to $17.85 per hour after successfully completing the department’s
FTO program. Township residency is not
a requirement. Pre-Testing Applications can be obtained at the Clearcreek Township
Police Department in person or by mail (telephone: 937-748-1267). Pre-Testing Applications shall
