High Visibility Enforcement Overtime - January

Clearcreek Township, OH. – As part of their participation in the High Visibility Enforcement Overtime Grant, the Clearcreek Township Police will be increasing patrols between January 18th and January 26th.  Officers will be focusing their efforts on reducing accidents through strict enforcement of traffic laws. Special attention will be placed upon arresting drivers that are impaired by alcohol and/or other drugs, drivers distracted by electronic devices, speed violations, and those unrestrained drivers and passengers. The High Visibility Enforcement Overtime (HVEO) Grant  was awarded to Clearcreek Township by the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS).  “The goal is to make the township roads safer for our residents and guests by increasing traffic enforcement,” said Sgt. Wally Stacy, the grant administrator for Clearcreek Township. “The Holidays are over, but it is still important that we remind drivers about the importance of safe driving as we move into 2013” said Stacy.
