Post Holiday

Clearcreek Township, OH. – Clearcreek Township had extra traffic patrols out during the Holiday season (December 9 through January 2). The extra patrols were a part of the Police Division’s effort to make Township roads safer for residents and visitors.  Recently, Clearcreek Township was awarded funding from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services to participate in their High Visibility Enforcement Overtime Grant. As a result, Clearcreek officers spent an additional 40 hours enforcing traffic laws while residents participated in their traditional holiday festivities. Clearcreek Township officers were out in force to encourage safe driving during this time. Officers issued 12 additional citations during the period. The next traffic blitz period will occur during the football playoff and Superbowl weeks from January 18 to February 4. Questions about the High Visibility Enforcement Overtime grant or Clearcreek Township’s Traffic Safety goals can be directed to Sgt. Wally Stacy at 937-748-1267.
