Thank you, Mr. Ed Wade
After nearly five decades of commitment, Trustee Ed Wade is retiring as a trustee at the end of this month. Mr. Wade, the current Clearcreek Township Trustee Chairperson, has served consecutively since January 1, 1978. A lifelong resident and graduate of Springboro High School, his public service extends beyond the boundaries of our township. Mr. Wade was the founding president of the Springboro Chamber of Commerce in 1976 and continues to serve as an honorary board member. Additionally, Mr. Wade served on the Warren County Regional Planning Commission and chaired the organization for many years. As a testament to his dedication to public service, Mr. Wade received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board in 2024. At Monday morning’s trustee meeting – Mr. Wade’s last as a trustee – the Government Center complex was renamed in his honor, the “G. Edward Wade Clearcreek Township Government Center.” Additionally, Mr. Wade was a local small-business owner, an active supporter of numerous Springboro sports programs, and an involved supporter of 4-H throughout Warren County.
We are grateful to Mr. Wade for his commitment to our community. Please join us in honoring Ed Wade for 48 years of dedication and wishing him the best of luck in retirement.
