Post Halloween

Clearcreek Township, OH. – Clearcreek Township had extra traffic patrols out during Halloween week (October 26th through 31st). The extra patrols were a part of the Police Division’s effort to make Township roads safer for residents and visitors.  Recently Clearcreek Township was awarded funding from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services to participate in their High Visibility Enforcement Overtime Grant. As a result, Clearcreek officers spent an additional 32 hours enforcing traffic laws while residents participated in Halloween parties and beggars night. Officers issued thirteen additional citations during the period. The next traffic blitz period will occur during the Thanksgiving holiday from November 16ththrough 25th. Questions about the High Visibility Enforcement Overtime grant or Clearcreek Township’s Traffic Safety goals can be directed to Sgt. Wally Stacy at 937-748-1267.
