New Residents
Welcome to Clearcreek Township!
As a new resident, you surely have a few questions, and we are here to help. Here you will find answers to common questions; feel free to reach out if we missed anything. We also have a handy page of helpful links.
What services does the township provide?
Clearcreek Township consists of six departments: Administration, Fire, Parks, Police, Road, and Zoning. Police and Fire provide public safety and emergency response services. The Road Maintenance department provides seasonal services and maintains roadways not covered by Warren County or the Ohio Department of Transportation. Please visit the Road Maintenance page for more information on their services. Our Parks Department maintains Patricia Allyn Park, Hoffmann Reserve, Diane's Sycamore Reserve, and cemeteries.
Is there an income tax?
No. Township residents (outside of the City of Springboro) do not pay an income tax. We receive our annual operating funds through property taxes collected by Warren County. Police and Fire receive additional funding through taxpayer-approved levies.
What utilities provide services in Clearcreek Township?
Clearcreek Township participates in an Electric Aggregation Program with both Duke Energy and AES Ohio to offer exclusive pricing on electric services. Residents voted in favor of this program and are automatically enrolled unless they are currently under contract with a different supplier or permanently opt out. New residents, if desired, will need to contact the utility services provider to switch services to the current township electric provider once service is established. Any resident wishing to opt out of the program may do so by following the links on our Electric Aggregation page. The township does not currently aggregate for natural gas service.
Use this link to identify which electric provider is used at your new address: Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

Does the township offer trash, recycling, and leaf collection?
