Text amendment 2023-1 was originally initiated by Clearcreek Township Trustee Resolution 5440. On October 2, 2023 the text amendment was amended by the Zoning Commission. This amended text amendment establishes rental definitions, updates home occupation regulations, removes terms and prohibits short-term rentals in the Clearcreek Township Zoning Code. On November 13, 2023, the public hearing was opened and after review of the materials, the Trustees moved to TABLE the request in process to December 11, 2023 @ 5:30 PM. The rational for the motion was to provide additional time for a review of the updated text amendment to ensure it continues to uphold the spirit and intent of the original document.
