PRESS RELEASE - East Pekin Road Closure Tues. May 12, 2026 - Fri. May 15, 2026

A daytime closure of East Pekin Road will begin on May 12th for a culvert replacement. Clearcreek Township Road Maintenance crews will conduct work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. between Milpond Lane and Utica Road for four consecutive days May 12^th – May 15^th.

Motorists traveling westbound on East Pekin Road should detour south on Utica Road to St Rt 122, head west to Weisenburger Road, and follow it back to Pekin Road. Motorists heading eastbound should travel the reverse.

All work is contingent upon the weather, which may result in an extension of construction time.
