Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fly my drone in the parks?

A:   Sorry, but no.  All remote controlled devices, including drones, are restricted in all Clearcreek Township parks.  A Special Use Permit may be authorized by the Township Administrator on a case by case basis.

Q:   Are dogs allowed in the parks?

A:   Yes, dogs are allowed in all Clearcreek Township parks.  They must be under the control of their owner at all times on a leash not longer than 12 feet.  Owners are responsible to clean up after their pets.  Dog waste bags are available at several locations around Patricia Allyn Park.

Q:   Can people fish in the pond and do I need a license?

A:   Yes, the ponds at Patricia Allyn Park are catch and release ponds and you do not need a fishing license to fish here.  The large pond by Shelter 3 is stocked with Large Mouth and Hybrid Striped Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Blue and Channel Catfish.  No fish may be removed from the property.  If you access Clear Creek from Diane's Sycamore Reserve to fish, you would need a valid fishing license there.
